Dry Braised Chicken Thighs
Coconut oil, garlic, onions, fresh skinless chicken thighs, cumin and crushed red chilies simmered slow until the chicken falls apart.
2 Tbsp. coconut oil
3 cloves garlic, smashed
1 onion, chopped
½ teaspoon cumin powder
1 teaspoon crushed red chilies
8 NatureRaised Farms® Boneless Skinless Chicken Thighs
Sea salt & pepper to taste
- In a large saucepan, heat the coconut oil over medium-low heat. Add the garlic, onion, cumin, red chilies and chicken to the oil and cook for 1 hour and 30 minutes covered, stirring and flipping the chicken every 10 minutes.
- Let the chicken cool and then pull the chicken into shredded pieces with your hands.
- Season with salt and pepper as necessary.
