Dry Braised Chicken Thighs


Coconut oil, garlic, onions, fresh skinless chicken thighs, cumin and crushed red chilies simmered slow until the chicken falls apart.


2 Tbsp. coconut oil
3 cloves garlic, smashed
1  onion, chopped
½ teaspoon cumin powder
1  teaspoon crushed red chilies
8  NatureRaised Farms® Boneless Skinless Chicken Thighs
Sea salt & pepper to taste


  1. In a large saucepan, heat the coconut oil over medium-low heat. Add the garlic, onion, cumin, red chilies and chicken to the oil and cook for 1 hour and 30 minutes covered, stirring and flipping the chicken every 10 minutes.
  2. Let the chicken cool and then pull the chicken into shredded pieces with your hands. 
  3. Season with salt and pepper as necessary.
